Golf

Newtownstewart Golf Course is an 18-hole course situated on Baronscourt Estate and is laid out in an attractive parkland setting. The Course is a Par 70 and is 5,341 metres long. It is widely recognised as being one of the best inland courses in Northern Ireland. This is a 5-minute drive from the accommodation available at the Clock Tower and Governor's Lodge.

The Club was established in 1914 and the Club House is a popular venue, welcoming groups and individual visitors alike, the emphasis being on friendliness rather than formality. The golf shop has a wide range of branded merchandise and is open seven days per week. There are extensive practice facilities and trolley, club and motorised buggy hire also available throughout the week. The clubhouse offers the usual range of services - bar, television, snooker and catering by arrangement. All bookings must be made in advance.
